Clinical Psychologist- Mount Gravatt (Brisbane)

Personal and relational growth through
self-awareness and practical strategies.
Leila Hayes
Clinical Psychologist
Master of Clinical Psychology, Bachelor of Applied Science- Psychology (Honours)
My focus is on assisting adults across the lifespan (17+ years old). My approach is informed by psychological and therapeutic knowledge and practices, including trauma-informed care, psychophysiology (mind-body connections), attachment theory, mindfulness techniques, and evidence-based therapies. I offer space to access and process emotions and thoughts. I help enhance psychological resources and explore alternative ways of coping. I assist with reducing distress, deepening self-awareness and integrating new learning.
I have 15+ years of experience working in adult mental health. I have provided psychology services in both public and private sectors, in hospital inpatient and outpatient multidisciplinary teams, and private practices. Before my work as a psychologist, I worked in disability and education sectors.
